With the arrival of 20 pallets of materials from the personal collection of the longest-serving Secretary of the Army in U.S. history, last week marked a milestone for Columbus State University (CSU) and its deepening commitment to establishing itself as a premier institution for the study of U.S. military history.

Fertal credits her Columbus State experience with introducing her to a love of chemistry and her graduate studies success.

Nicholes and Micah overcame personal challenges, pursued their passions and earned their degrees—exemplifying the power of perseverance and family support in achieving one’s dreams.

Through study abroad, students enhanced their leadership skills and fostered community connections by engaging in service-learning projects alongside local villagers in the Amazon.
