Car Dealer Offers CSU Scholarship to Competition Winner
COLUMBUS, Ga. -- A Columbus car dealership is inviting current and prospective Columbus State University students to compete to become its official spokesperson and receive a $5,000 scholarship to CSU.April 20 is the deadline set for entries by Legacy Chevrolet, which has a Manchester Expressway dealership less than a half mile from main campus. Entrants must be between ages 16-24, living in the Columbus-Phenix City area, either enrolled or entering CSU by fall 2012, write an essay of at least 250 words and submit a head shot.
Legacy will select 10 entrants to deliver videotaped audition commercials, and five finalists will then be chosen. The winner has to be available for personal appearances and to appear in Legacy’s media advertising – TV, radio or print – for a one-year period.
