Columbus State Introduces Online MBA Program

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Columbus State University’s internationally accredited Turner College of Business will start this fall offering a Master of Business Administration degree completely online, a convenient option for professionals looking to advance in the business world.

CSU’s online Master of Business Administration is designed for people who have full-time jobs, but it’s also open to anyone looking for a convenient, high-caliber degree program. Degree candidates who take two courses each semester will complete the program in less than two years, said Linda Hadley, dean of the college.

Students without an undergraduate degree in business can also take advantage of the new degree. Special modules have been designed for non-business majors to quickly satisfy all program prerequisites.

“This new online MBA program gives people an opportunity to get a quality degree at a reasonable cost,” Hadley said. “The coursework can be completed at the students’ convenience, and should they relocate, the degree program goes with them.”

CSU’s D. Abbott Turner College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance College Schools of Business (AACSB) International, a distinction earned by only 27 percent of business schools in the country.

This new online MBA is a way to extend the college’s expertise to professionals, soldiers or anyone looking to succeed in the business world, Hadley said. Since the entire curriculum is available online, the degree is available to anyone in the world with a computer. Courses will be taught by full-time graduate professors in a team-based learning environment that takes advantage of the business expertise of students and faculty.

Prospective students can learn more about this new program, and other graduate degrees at Columbus State University at the CSU Graduate School Open House from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18 in the Cunningham Center.
