Columbus State University Hosts Fall Open House for Students

COLUMBUS, Ga. --- Columbus State University welcomed prospective students, including high school juniors, seniors and transfer students, to Fall Open House, Saturday, October 15. Participants met with current students, spoke with faculty members from a variety of academic programs, and learned about financial aid, student life and CSU’s admissions process.

"Our Fall Open House programs give prospective CSU students and their families great opportunities to learn more about the many undergraduate and graduate programs offered here,” said John McElveen, associate vice president for enrollment management at CSU. “From on-campus housing for freshmen and transfers, to information about graduate programs that can enhance their advancement in their chosen profession, this is a very convenient and efficient way to explore the possibilities available."

Columbus State University’s Graduate School also hosted an open house and breakfast with graduate program faculty and alumni on Saturday in the President’s Suite at the Lumpkin Center on CSU’s main campus.
