AUG. 9 - MOVE-IN DAY: VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST, WELCOME FRESHMEN
About 90 volunteers Columbus State University returning students, faculty, staff, alumni and other university supporters will help about 200 new CSU freshmen move their belongings into their Courtyard I and II campus apartments, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. (Separately, CSU alumni will assist students moving into their apartments Aug. 13-15 on CSUs RiverPark campus.)

A process made extra burdensome by the late summer heat, Move-In Day helps new students get acquainted with the campus community. The event also launches Cougar Kickoff, which will bring together the new-student housing residents on main campus and returning students for a series of nightly social activities culminating with an Aug. 16 Taste of CSU Cookout at Courtyard I. For more information, call CSU Residence Life at 706-568-2026.
