Dec. 9 – Graduate Admissions Application Deadline

Dec. 9-30 -- Coca-Cola Space Science Center Holiday Shows
Omnisphere Theatre at Columbus State's Coca-Cola Space Science Center presents Mystery of the Christmas Star and Holiday Laser Show through the holidays, with Mystery at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday and at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturdays and the laser show at 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Omnisphere Theatre offers a full-dome, immersive experience,with the show wrapping around viewers. Mystery takes viewers back 2,000 years to Bethlehem for a scientific explanation of the star linked to the birth of Christ and looks at recorded sightings of significant astronomical events during this period. Dec. 10 – Lynn Haven Wildlife Garden Club Meeting
Columbus State’s Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center presents a meeting of the Lynn Haven Wildlife Garden Club at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the center, 3535 South Lumpkin Road. Following a brief meeting, the club will enjoy a presentation by Norris Randall called My Snapshots of Life. Admission is free. Dec. 10 – NCAA Men’s Basketball
Columbus State’s men’s basketball team plays West Alabama 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 in the Lumpkin Center. Bring a teddy bear to donate to charity and get in free. Otherwise, admission is $5 for adults, $3 for non-CSU students and free for ages 5 and younger and CSU students, faculty and staff with ID. Dec. 11 – Second Sunday: Native Clay Holiday Ornament Making
Columbus State’s Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center presents a native clay holiday ornament making class at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the center, 3535 South Lumpkin Road. Local potter Irene Pate will instruct a class on designing a one-of-a-kind holiday ornament made from Georgia Lizella clay. Please RSVP, as supplies are limited. Dec. 12-15 – Student Recreation Center Open House
Columbus State’s Student Recreation Center will host an open house that will allow faculty, staff, their spouses and alumni to try the center for free from Monday-Thursday, Dec. 12-15. The center will be open from 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Dec. 12-15. The aquatic center will be open from 7-9 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., and the climbing wall will be available from 5-8 p.m. Group fitness classes will be held at 12:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. that Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Dec. 14 – Early Registration Fee Payment Deadline

Dec. 16 – Graduation
