CSU Hosts Fall Discovery Day for Prospective Students

Columbus State University will host the first Discovery Day of the 2014-2015 academic year on Saturday, Nov. 22 on CSU’s main campus.

Discovery Day offers prospective students and guests the opportunity to tour campus, meet current CSU students, and discuss academic offerings with faculty in a comprehensive, half-day schedule. The event is open to all prospective students, including high school students, transfer students, graduate students, and adults interested in starting or finishing their degrees.

“We are very excited to host the year’s first Discovery Day this November,” said Tim Mescon, Columbus State’s president. “Students will have the opportunity to meet our dedicated faculty and staff, learn about research opportunities, and learn how to get involved on campus. The day will highlight everything that makes Columbus State University a first choice institution.”

Columbus State will host a total of five large-scale visitations throughout the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters for various groups of students. Each program offers three to five hours of immersion into the CSU community.

Due to limited space, attendees must pre-register online by visiting http://admissions.columbusstate.edu/tours/index.php#discovery and selecting the link for the Nov. 22 session. More information on CSU Discovery Day is available there or by calling 706-507-8800.
