Cunningham Center Conference Targets Sales Pros

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Cunningham Center for Leadership Development at Columbus State University will host a sales development conference on Winning Sales Teams, Building Customer Relationships, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 27-28 at the center located at 3100 Gentian Boulevard.

A half-day, pre-conference on Sept. 27 targets sales managers and sales team leaders, followed by a full day for all sales professionals.

The keynote speaker is Steve Sullivan, an internationally recognized sales expert and author of Selling at Mach 1, Leading at Mach 2 and Remember this Titan recently named an All-Time Best Pick by the Wall Street Journal.

Sullivan also will conduct a general session in which each participant will construct a personal blueprint for sales success. Additional sessions will cover:

  • Building high performance sales teams
  • Coaching for accelerated results
  • Getting the most out of networking
  • Understanding your customers communication and behavioral styles
  • Negotiating to preserve profits and customers

Conference organizers describe the event as a first of its kind for Columbus-area sales professionals, who can experience national-level professional development without the burden of travel time and expense.

The opening half day costs $99, includes a copy of Leading at Mach I and qualifies for three Real Estate Commission continuing education units. The following full day is $199, includes a signed copy of Selling at Mach I and six CEUs. Those attending both days pay $249 and receive both books, a $40 value.
