FYI: Police Drill to be Held Tomorrow

Dear students, faculty and staff,

Tomorrow, Thursday Jan. 21, University Police will conduct a campus-wide emergency drill and training exercise. Actors will be used to simulate an active shooter situation at the Lumpkin Center (main campus) at 2 p.m.

The university also will test CougarAlert, CSU’s emergency notification system at this time.

Emergency drills and training exercises are part of Columbus State University’s continuing efforts to train public safety officials and other campus personnel on how to efficiently and effectively respond to crisis situations and protect CSU’s campus community.
