New Classroom/Computer Labs at Dillingham Place at River Park
With the start of the 2011 fall semester, CSU welcomed the grand opening of Dillingham Place, a new technology center for students. Located in the heart of River Park campus, Dillingham Place houses a 30-station iMac classroom as well as a 30-station iMac student computer lab. The newly renovated space is located in the historic Garrett Joy building across from the Columbus Marriott and Houlihan’s Restaurant on Broadway. The classroom provides a sleek, modern learning environment while the lab serves as a convenient alternative for residents of downtown housing and students taking classes on River Park campus.
The lab and classroom are equipped with new Apple iMacs which include the latest software and dual boot login screens for those who prefer using Windows operating system. The computer lab help desk is centrally located between the open computer lab and classroom, and help desk staff is on hand part-time to answer computer-related questions and resolve issues.
Upcoming services scheduled for later in the fall semester include a student computer repair shop, a lounge and study area.
General computer usage and printing is available for currently enrolled students and requires the same Novell login credentials used on all campus computers and print release stations. A valid, activated student key card is required for entry into the building. Lab hours are from 7am – 11pm 7 days a week. For more information, call the CSU Computer Help Desk at 706-507-8199.
