No. 7 Columbus State to Host USC Aiken in PBC Quarterfinals
Columbus – After capping off an unbeaten regular season, the seventh-ranked and top-seeded Columbus State University women's soccer team (16-0-1, 11-0-0) will host eighth-seeded USC Aiken (6-8-3, 4-5-2) in the quarterfinal round of the Peach Belt Conference tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the Walden Soccer Complex.
Columbus State picked up goals from Tori Hood, Chelsea Person and Kiana Nicholson in a 3-1 victory at USC Aiken on September 27. Taylor Simmons scored the only goal for the Pacers in the 83rd minute.
The Lady Cougars are a perfect 11-0-0 all-time against USC Aiken.
The winner of Tuesday's match will meet the winner of No. 4 UNC Pembroke and No. 5 Lander on Friday in Evans, Ga.
Columbus State won the PBC Tournament in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
CSU is the top seed in the conference tournament for the first time since 2009.

USC Aiken is winless in its last four matches, including a 9-0 defeat at North Georgia on Saturday.
Senior Hannah Allison leads the Pacers in scoring with nine goals on the season.
