Associate Professor of Communication Selected to Judge NAACP Competitions

Nikita Y. Harris, associate professor of communication at Columbus State University, will serve as oratory judge at the NAACP’s national ACT-SO competitions beginning Thursday, July 9 in Philadelphia, Pa. ACT-SO is the largest academic promotion for black youths in America. The year-long achievement program is designed to recruit, stimulate and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African-American high school students across the nation.
