Bug Eating and Roach Racing On Schedule for Insect Festival July 10

Roach races, a cricket-spitting contest and tasty bugs are on the menu Sunday July 10 as Columbus State University's Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center hosts the 6th annual Insect Festival.

The event will go from noon to 4 p.m. at the Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center at 3535 South Lumpkin Road.

Admission is $2 per person but children under 4 are free.
