Red and blue streamers fall during an indoor graduation ceremony.

Columbus State University will award 963 degrees and certificates to summer and fall graduates through seven commencement-related ceremonies and events Dec. 9-11. The in-person ceremonies, all scheduled to occur on the CSU Main Campus, will mark the university’s return to in-person celebrations for graduates and their guests. Additionally, each ceremony will be livestreamed to help Cougars everywhere celebrate these graduates’ academic milestones.

In addition, those attending are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations of the Lumpkin Center, including the university’s clear-bag policy. The university requests that guests refrain from bringing items such as balloons, confetti, posters or signs, and noisemakers inside the facility.

Free parking for the ceremonies is available throughout Main Campus, with limited accessible parking located in the parking deck next to the Lumpkin Center. Shuttles will also be moving through campus to assist any guests with limited mobility.
