Columbus State To Remain Closed Until Noon on Saturday

Columbus, Ga. --- Due to inclement weather, Columbus State University will remain closed until noon on Saturday, Feb. 13.University officials made the decision to cancel classes and regular business operations based on the expected snowfall through the day today and the low temperatures predicted for Saturday morning.
Sun and warmer temperatures should combine to make the roads safer for travel by noon on Saturday. The afternoon basketball games at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. will go on as scheduled.
Pre-game homecoming activities have been canceled.
For the convenience of those students living on campus, the Davidson Student Center will remain open throughout the day. Cougar Dining Services will keep its regular Saturday hours. The Cougars Caf dining hall will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and then from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the Den market and deli downtown will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ###
