Creative Writing Professor Published Internationally

Poems by Nick Norwood, CSU creative writing professor and director of the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians, was recently published internationally.

His collection, Poems by Nick Norwood, was published in translation in the most recent issue of Savremennik, the top literary journal in Bulgaria. The four poems-"Hawk," "Second Person Singular," "Turn to Stone," and "Clutch"-are from Norwood's collection of poems Gravel and Hawk, which won the Hollis Summers Prize and was published by Ohio University Press. The poems' translator Stefka Hrusanova, is a literary scholar based at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
