CSU Anthropology Professor Co-Edits Book

Dr. Warren Church, Columbus State University professor of anthropology, recently co-edited
a book with co-editor and co-author Dr. Anna Guengerich of Vanderbilt University.
The book is titled "¿Qué fue Chachapoyas?Aproximaciones interdisciplinarias en el
estudio de los Andes nororientales del Perú," which translates to "What was Chachapoyas?
Interdisciplinary Approaches in the Study of the Northeastern Peruvian Andes."
The book includes three chapters written by Church and focuses on his research of
the Chachapoyas culture of Peru. Church is a foremost expert on Chachapoyan archaeology
and has been featured in both National Geographic and on the PBS Series "Secrets of
the Dead."
