APRIL 8 - NCAA TENNIS: CSU TO HOST NORTH GEORGIA
The Columbus State University mens and womens tennis squads will host North Georgia
College and State University for matches starting 2 p.m. Saturday at the Blackmon

APRIL 9 - OXBOW MEADOWS TO STAGE REPTILE FEST
Columbus State Universitys Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center will stage
its sixth annual Reptile Fest, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The event will feature native
and exotic snakes, lizards, turtles and alligators, and an opportunity to take a photo
with a boa or python, hands-on crafts and activities, and refreshments. Admission
is $3 and free for kids age 4 and younger. Oxbow Meadows is located at 3535 South
Lumpkin Rd., Columbus. For more information, call 706-687-4090.
APRIL 9 - CSU JAZZ BAND TO PERFORM AT LIBERTY THEATRE
The CSU Jazz Band will perform for the Columbus Jazz Society at 6 p.m. Sunday in
the Liberty Theatre and Cultural Center in Columbus. The event is open to the public
with a $5 admission charge for non-members of the jazz society. For more information,

APRIL 10 - EARLY REGISTRATION BEGINS FOR SUMMER CLASSES
Early registration begins Monday for Columbus State Universitys summer 2006 May and
June session classes. The first day of registration is open to seniors, post-baccalaureate
students and graduate students. The following schedule applies for the remainder of
the week:
- Tuesday - sophomores and juniors
- Wednesday - freshmen
- Thursday - non-degree, transient and audit students

APRIL 12 - NCAA SOFTBALL: CSU TO HOST GEORGIA SOUTHWESTERN
The Columbus State University softball squad will host Georgia Southwestern for a
doubleheader starting 5 p.m. Wednesday at Lady Cougar Field. General admission is
$5, $3 for students and free for military personnel and CSU students, faculty and

APRIL 13 - CSU TO PRESENT AN EVENING WITH GARRISON KEILLOR
Columbus State University will present An Evening with Garrison Keillor, 7 p.m. Thursday,
April 13 in the RiverCenters Bill Heard Theatre. The event is free. Tickets for reserved
seating are available from the CSU and RiverCenter ticket offices. For more information,
call the RiverCenter at 706-256-3600 or call 706-568-2030. Keillors appearance is
part of CSUs Hunter Lecture Series and will include a presentation, The Craft of Writing,
for CSU students earlier in the day at 3 p.m. in the Davidson auditorium.
