DEC. 15 – Fall Graduation Ceremony
CSU will hold its fall 2007 graduation ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 in the
Lumpkin Center. The featured speaker will be Patrick “Pat” Pittard, a member of the
University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents. The ceremony also will feature an
honorary degree presentation to Thomas Buck Jr., a senior member of the CSU Foundation
Board of Trustees. Seating for guests will begin at 8:30 a.m. and shuttles will be
available to transport guests from main campus parking lots. The CSU Bookstore will
have items available for purchase before the ceremony on the second floor lobby of

DEC. 17 – New Student Orientation
CSU will hold an orientation on Monday, Dec. 17 for all new students accepted to
the university for spring 2008. Check-in is at 8 a.m. in the Davidson Student Center.
The program will begin at 9 a.m., covering campus resources, organizations, academic
policies and procedures. Fees are $35 per student and $15 per guest. For more information,

DEC. 24-28 and Jan. 1 – CSU Offices to Close
CSU will close its offices Dec. 24-28 and Jan. 1 for the holidays.
