July 8 – Honey Extraction at Oxbox Meadows
The Chattahoochee Valley Beekeepers Association will extract honey from beehives at
Columbus State University’s Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8. Admission is $3 per person, and there's no charge for children

July 12-13 – Orientation for Freshmen, RiverPark Campus
Columbus State will hold a two-day overnight fall semester orientation on Tuesday
and Wednesday, July 12-13, for accepted students who have been out of high school
for less than five years and transferring in less than 30 hours of credit from another
institution. Specifically for students planning to live on CSU's RiverPark Campus
in Uptown Columbus, this orientation's check-in is 8-9 a.m. in the Grand Lobby of
the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. The cost is $106 per student and $50 per

July 19-20 – Orientation for Freshmen, Main Campus
