MARCH 11 – NCAA Baseball
Columbus State’s baseball squad continues its 2012 season against USC Aiken at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 11 at Ragsdale Field. MARCH 12 – CSU Wind Orchestra Performance
CSU’s Schwob School of Music welcomes acclaimed jazz pianist and guest clinician Lenore Raphael at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12 in RiverCenter’s Studio Theater. Raphael will present a lecture recital and a master class for CSU students and the Columbus community. Admission is free. MARCH 12 – Two Piano Concert
CSU’s Schwob School of Music presents faculty artists Yien Wang and Alex Kobrin at 7:30 p.m. March 12 in RiverCenter’s Legacy Hall. This will be their first piano duo collaboration and will feature selections by Poulenc, Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich.  Admission is free. Columbus State’s Cunningham Center for Leadership Development will host the seventh annual Women’s Leadership Conference at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the center, 3100 Gentian Blvd. Held during Women's History Month, this two-day conference, themed Courageous Leadership, is a celebration of women in the workplace and an opportunity for women leaders and future leaders to connect, network, and enjoy professional development training by women, for women. MARCH15 – McCullers Highlighted for Women’s History Month
This is first day of the two-day celebration of the birthday of world-renowned author Carson McCullers at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road. Courtney George, director at CSU’s Carson McCullers Center, will speak on McCullers’ life and work.

MARCH 15 – CSU Wind Orchestra Performance
CSU’s Schwob School of Music will host a performance by CSU’s Wind Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15 in RiverCenter’s Legacy Hall. The Wind Orchestra will perform works by Saint-Saens, Shostakovich, Ginastera and Clifton Williams. Sean Powell, head of instrumental music education, and Josh Kearney, graduate student in conducting, will guest conduct. Admission is free. MARCH 16 – Linda Di Fiore Performance
CSU’s Schwob School of Music presents guest artist Linda Di Fiore at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 16 in RiverCenter’s Legacy Hall. Di Fiore, a mezzo-soprano and Regents Professor in the University of North Texas’ College of Music, presents a program of Handel, Brahms, Poulenc, and Barber. MARCH 17 –Cody’s Run 5K Race
The second annual Cody’s Run 5K Race will start at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17. Anyone can register at the Columbus State University Student Recreation Center or online at http://www.active.com/5k-race/columbus-ga/codys-run-2012.  Proceeds will benefit the One CSU campaign, creating sustainability in the community.

MARCH 17 –PRIME Camp Preview
The CSU-based Columbus Regional Mathematics Collaborative will preview a summer math camp designed for girls entering grades 6-8 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in CSU's International House at University Avenue and Clearview Circle. Girls who attend will engage in hands-on mathematics activities similar to what's in store for participants in the collaborative's PRIME Summer Camp, which is short for Positive Reinforcement in Math Education. Girls will also have a chance to interact with high school mentors from CSU's Math CIRCLES project, which is short for Community and Industry Role-models Creating Learning Experiences. MARCH 17 – Tara O’Connor to Perform
CSU’s Schwob School of Music presents Tara Helen O’Connor at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in RiverCenter’s Legacy Hall. O’Connor, a flutist, is the 2001 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient. Joined by faculty artist Yien Wang, the duo will present works by Vine, Dutilleux, Schulhoff, Wolff and Reynolds. Admission is free. MARCH 18 – Artbeat of Columbus: Steinway Piano Concert
CSU’s Schwob School of Music opens the 2012 Artbeat of Columbus series with a Piano Scholarship Benefit at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 18 in RiverCenter’s Legacy Hall. This concert will feature three Steinway grand pianos on the same stage with solo, duo, and trio performances by Schwob school students and faculty. Admission is $25. MARCH 19 – Tuba and Euphonium Studio Recital

MARCH 20 – Artbeat of Columbus: Aya Korem and Michael Ochs Performance
CSU’s Schwob School of Music and College of the Arts will host a concert by Israeli pop musicians Aya Korem and Michael Ochs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 in RiverCenter’s Studio Theater. Korem’s 2006 self-titled debut album quickly reached gold status, and she was named “artist of the year” in Israel. Ochs, a U.S.-based, multi-platinum singer-songwriter will appear with Korem. His songs have been featured in motion pictures, including Warner Brothers’ Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Twentieth Century Fox’s Aquamarine. Ochs’ music spans genres from country to alternative rock, from classical crossover to contemporary Christian. Admission is free.
