JAN. 14 NCAA BASKETBALL: CSU HOSTS FRANCIS MARION The Columbus State University mens and womens basketball squads will host Francis Marion for a doubleheader Saturday in the Lumpkin Center. Tip-off times are 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. . General admission is $5, $3 for students and free for military personnel and CSU students, faculty and staff, with appropriate ID. JAN. 16 CSU TO CLOSE FOR HOLIDAY Columbus State University will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

JAN. 19-22 CSU THEATRE TO STAGE RIKKI TIKKI TAVI The Columbus State University Department of Theatre will stage Rikki Tikki Tavi Thursday through Sunday, Jan. 19-22, in the Davidson Center Auditorium. Show times will be 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Directed by professor Brenda May Ito and based on Rudyard Kiplings story, the production is for audiences of all ages. CSU will stage the production at local schools following the CSU performances.

Admission prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children, senior citizens, active-duty military and CSU alumni. CSU faculty, staff and students receive one complimentary ticket. Tickets can be purchased from the Fine Arts Hall Box Office or charged by telephone at 569-3179. Box office hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and one hour prior to each performance.
