Nov. 18-19 CSU TO HOST CONDUCTORS WORKSHOP
Columbus State Universitys Schwob School of Music will stage CSUs ninth Annual Conductors
Workshop Friday and Saturday at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. CSU professor
Robert Rumbelow, conductor and director of wind ensemble activities, will direct the
workshop. He will be joined by guest clinicians Paula Crider, University of Texas
professor emeritus and Frank Battisti, conductor emeritus of the New England Conservatory
Wind Ensemble.
Registration/check-in begins at 6 p.m. Friday. The workshop costs $150 for participants while non-participants can audit the workshop for $75. For more information call 649-7252 or 649-7287.
Nov. 18 - CSU WIND SYMPHONY CONCERT TO FEATURE GUEST CONDUCTORS
Columbus State Universitys Schwob School of Music will present the CSU Wind Symphony
in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in the RiverCenters Legacy Hall. The event,
part of CSUs 9th Annual Conductors Workshop, will feature guest conductors: clinicians
Paula Crider from the University of Texas and Frank Battisti from the New England
Conservatory Wind Ensemble. General admission is $5. For tickets call 256-3600. For

Columbus State Universitys Schwob School of Music will present a performance by the
CSU Jazz Combo, directed by Morris Foor, at 3 p.m. Sunday in the RiverCenters Studio

Nov. 21 FREE EVENT: FLUTE AND GUITAR RECITAL
Columbus State Universitys Schwob School of Music will present a Flute and Guitar
Recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the RiverCenters Legacy Hall. The event is free. For

NOV. 23-25 CSU TO CLOSE FOR HOLIDAY
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, Columbus State University will be closed for classes
and all business on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23-25.
