SEPT. 3 - NCAA SOCCER: CSU TO HOST WEST GEORGIA
The Columbus State University womens soccer squad opens its home season with a match
against West Georgia, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3 at the CSU Soccer Complex. General
admission is $5 and free for faculty, staff and students with CSU ID. For more information,

SEPT. 4 CSU TO CLOSE FOR HOLIDAY
Columbus State University will be closed Monday for the Labor Day Holiday.

SEPT. 10 OXBOW MEADOWS TO FEATURE BIRD-FEEDING BASICS
Columbus State Universitys Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center will present
Bird-Feeding Basics as its Second Sunday Series program for Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2
p.m. Hal Massie, a veteran birder and naturalist, will discuss feeding and types of
feeders, water sources and control of unwanted feeder guests. Participants also will
have an opportunity to construct a bird feeder to take home. Admission is $2 per
person and free for children age 4 and under. For more information, call 706-687-4090.
SEPT. 10 - FREE CONCERT TO FEATURE CSU WIND SYMPHONY
The CSU Wind Symphony will be featured in concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 in the
RiverCenters Bill Heard Theatre. The symphony, with conductor Robert Rumbelow, will
be joined by the Northwinds Symphonic Band, regarded as one of Georgias premier adult/community
