CSU Professor Co-Authors Book Chapter

Dr. Florence Wakoko-Studstill, Columbus State University associate professor and past Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow , recently co-authored a chapter in Taking a Multisectoral, One Health Approach: A Tripartite Guide to Addressing Zoonotic Diseases in Countries. The newly released guide is a publication by the World Health Organization , Food and Agricultural Organization and the World Organization for Animal Health .

Dr. Wakoko was the only sociologist on a professional team of medical doctors, veterinarians and agriculturalists, some of whom she had collaborated with on the fellowship projects in Uganda and Tanzania. She co-authored chapter five of the book, which focuses on workforce development.
