CSU Professor Receives Fulbright Scholarship Award

Columbus State University professor Patricia Patrick was recently awarded a Fulbright award to Indonesia. Dr. Patrick's research project will highlight conservation and biodiversity at Universitas Bengkulu , Bengkulu, Indonesia.

The purpose of the Fulbright research project is to better understand the importance of the relationships developed during apprenticeships and how these relationships influence traditional healers, known in Indonesia as Battra, and biology students' sense of conservation. As a result of the research project, community outreach programs and conservation education program will be implemented.

The Fulbright program seeks to build mutually understanding relationships between the United States and other countries.
