CSU Students Compete in Cybersecurity Competition

February 2, 2016

Two student cybersecurity teams from Columbus State University placed third and 12th in a competition this weekend at Clemson University involving nearly 60 students representing eight universities from the Southeast.

The competition, called GhostRed, pitted teams of four against each other in a Jeopardy-style, computer-based Capture the Flag competition built and conducted by a volunteer team of General Electric engineers. CSU team "Snek in Our Root" placed third, while "Team Xana" placed 12th.
