CSU Team Builds New Learning Module Out of Legos

A team made up of professors Rajeev Dabke, Samuel Melaku and James Schreck and undergraduate student Kameron Griffin from Columbus State University’s Department of Chemistry authored a paper that was published in the March issue of Journal of Chemical Education. The article, titled “Interlocking Toy Building Blocks as Hands-On Learning Modules for Blind and Visually Impaired Chemistry Students,” describes the success of Lego learning modules for teaching blind and visually impaired students, a project initially funded by CSU’s Faculty Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning.
