CSU’s Space Science Center Interviews NASA About a Mission to Mars

A team from Columbus State University’s Coca-Cola Space Science Center interviewed Jon Cowart, NASA’s partner manager for SpaceX, this morning from the Kennedy Space Center. SpaceX, a technology company founded by business magnate and engineer Elon Musk, is dedicated to expanding commercial space exploration and making life multi-planetary.

The interview was part of live broadcast about NASA’s new Space Launch System, the world’s most powerful rocket that will eventually launch astronauts to Mars. It aired 7-9 a.m. on NewsRadio 540 WDAK and was the lead story on SpaceWeather.com.

Space Science Center Director Shawn Cruzen will be part of a second broadcast tomorrow during the launch of the Atlas V rocket from the Kennedy Space Center at 10:30 a.m. Tune in at CCSSC.org.
