CSU’s String Quartet Finishes First in National Competition

The Columbus State University String Quartet, coached by violinist and Schwob School of Music faculty member Boris Abramov, was named the winner of the Music Teachers National Association 2015 Southern Division Chamber Music String Competition.

Violinists Sophie Wang, McClaran Hayes and Mario Rivera and cellist John Rogler will advance to the MTNA national finals in Las Vegas in March.
