CSU’s Teacher Education Chair and Student Present to National Association

Columbus State’s Abby Sykes, a graduate student assistant in teacher education, and Jan Burcham, chair of the Department of Teacher Education, presented at the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators in New Orleans earlier this month. Their presentation, titled "Making a Difference: Improving Teaching, Learning, and Advocacy through a Graduate Mathematics Methods Course,” focused on how course design engages graduate students as learners, researchers, and curriculum designers in improving the teaching and learning of mathematics.
