CSU Partners with WTVM to Host Regional Job Fair this Thursday

This Thursday, Columbus State University and WTVM will welcome more than 40 of the region’s top employers to CSU’s Student Recreation Multipurpose Room for a regional job fair. Admission is free and open to job seekers at all experience levels—both currently enrolled students and area residents—who are looking for their next career opportunity.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. During that time, applicants will meet with prospective employers spanning multiple professional and trade industries including retail, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, food service, education and more. Job seekers are encouraged to have resumes with them.

“The job fair is a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with local and regional employers looking for talent to fill their open positions”, said Jovan Johnson, director of career design at Columbus State University. “Our goal is to ensure that talent meets employment opportunities that promote how great the Columbus area is to work and live.”

Johnson indicated that students planning to participate in the job fair should visit the Center for Career Design’s website before Thursday for job-hunting resources.
