Horn Performances Aug. 1-4 Highlight Internationally Renowned Musician Workshop at CSU

Columbus State University's Schwob School of Music hosts a series of horn recitials by internationally renowned artists at 8 p.m. each evening from Thursday, Aug 1 through Sunday, Aug. 4 in the Studio Theatre at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. Admission is free.
The recitals are in conjunction with the first meeting of the Barry Tuckwell Institute, a five-day workshop for professional horn musicians. Featured performers will include Tuckwell, Jean Rife and Mary Bisson from the Baltimore Symphonhy.
CSU's Kristen Hansen, an assistant professor of horn, is administering the event with assistance from Jeremy Hansen of the Eastern Illinois University music faculty. For more information, call Schwob School of Music at 649-7225.
