Interdisciplinary Efforts Result in Program Approval by Society of Actuaries

Columbus State University courses ECON 2105, ECON 2106, FINC 3105/3109, FINC 3115 and MATH 5126 have recently been granted approval by The Society of Actuaries as satisfying its Validation by Educational Experience requirements in the areas of Economics, Corporate Finance and Applied Statistical Methods. The CSU Department of Mathematics B. S. in Applied Mathematics Actuarial Track is one of only six programs in the state of Georgia with current approval by The Society of Actuaries in all three of these areas.
