Kids Safety Station Featured at Upcoming Basketball Games

January 5, 2005

The CSU Criminal Justice Department in partnership with the Muscogee County Sheriffs Department will provide a Safety Station for children ages 2 to 13 at the next three Saturday home basketball events in the Lumpkin Center on Jan. 15, Jan. 29, and Feb. 5.

At this station, parents will have the opportunity to have their children finger-printed. Parents will also receive an identification card, which will ONLY be maintained by their family. There will be no database compiled as a result of this Safety Station.

Parents also will receive information on the retention of these documents as well as instructions on how to prepare a home DNA sample pack. For more information, contact John Hargrove at 706-565-4343.
