McCollough Named to Inaugural Editorial Board of Journal of Public Relations Education

Columbus State University Associate Professor of Communication Dr. Chris McCollough was recently invited to serve along with 25 colleagues around the globe on the Inaugural Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Relations Education. The invitees were selected from a pool of 70 potential candidates who are educators and scholars in the fields of public relations, strategic communication, and mass communication.

Started in 2015 to provide a rigorous, enduring platform for scholarship on teaching and learning in public relations pedagogy, the institution of an editorial board is in the effort to establish help formalize the publications listing with the Elton B. Stephens Co. electronic research database and Elsevier's abstract and citation database .

The board will hold its first formal meeting in August during the annual meeting of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in Toronto.
