Public Radio Features Taping Hosted by Schwob School of Music

January 9, 2006

A popular public radio program that airs nationally is now featuring performances taped at CSUs Schwob School of Music in the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts.

Schwob hosted a live taping of ``From the Top,' hosted by Christopher OReilly, on Oct. 24, 2005 in the RiverCenters Bill Heard Theatre. The program, featuring budding classical musicians, is distributed by Public Radio International and touted as one of the five most-listened-to weekly public radio programs.

The Fred and Catalina Aranas Foundation of Columbus provided local underwriting for this event.

The taping is now available online at http://www.fromthetop.org/radio/shows.cfm?sid=128. It should play on any computer with Internet access and RealAudio software that's available at no charge.
