Recent CSU Grad Receives National Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship

Katherine HinzmanKatherine Hinzman , a new Columbus State University Honors College alumna, was recently selected as a national Phi Kappa Phi Fellow and will take home a $5,000 prize. Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

A double art history and history major, Katherine studied as a visiting scholar in Oxford and worked with CSU Professor Claire McCoy, the William B. and Sue Marie Turner Distinguished Faculty Chair in Art History, on her honors thesis. Katherine will pursue her master’s degree in art history at Oxford University next year.

This is the second year in a row a Columbus State University Honors College student has received this recognition.
