Students Show Appreciation for CSU in Creative Video Contest

Columbus State University announced today the winners of the first ever CSU #CreateYou student video contest. With more than 400 votes, CSU nursing major, Alexis Lyon, claimed first place. A shortened version of her video will be used as a commercial for the university.

As part of CSU’s new brand, the #CreateYou student video contest encouraged students to create videos that explain how they will create their best selves through their experience at CSU. The competition was unveiled at the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year, with voting ending this week during Homecoming. Runners up in the contest were theatre major Kenneth Butler and special education major Shannon Eshman. The three winners will be awarded gift cards to CSU’s bookstore and on-campus restaurants.
