In anticipation of severe weather because of Hurricane Irma, Columbus State University will be closed on Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12. All normal business operations, including campus shuttle services, will cease as of 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Emergency services remain available. Anyone needing assistance should call CSU Police at (706) 507-8911. Campus officials will continue to monitor and assess the situation to make a determination about operations and services for Wednesday, Sept. 13. Any additional closures will be communicated through CougarAlert as soon as possible.

CSU Police encourages everyone to develop their personal safety plans for severe weather immediately. Additional notifications may be issued by CougarAlert, but all campus community members are encouraged to be mindful of the Muscogee County outdoor emergency weather sirens.
