Atlanta Falcons name Corcoran ’19 its 2021 ‘High School Coach of the Year’

On Wednesday, Jan. 19, the Atlanta Falcons announced that Columbus State alumnus Zach Corcoran, head coach of the girls flag football program at Columbus’ St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School, as its Head Coach of the Year Award recipient.

Columbus State’s Chris Markwood to retire in June 2022

Nearly seven years after first setting foot on the Columbus State University campus, Dr. Chris Markwood has announced his plans to retire from public higher education and step down from his role as president in June 2022.

New Miss CSU ready to tackle childhood cancer research

Miss Columbus State University 2022 Tori Svenson knows childhood cancer too well. At age 7, she was diagnosed with brain cancer, undergoing 52 weeks of intense chemotherapy and six weeks of radiation.
